The Graduate School’s Summer Research Fellowships award doctoral students with financial support so they can focus solely on their dissertation research during the critical summer months. Summer Research Fellowships are supported by generous donors.
This year’s fellows come from all around campus and represent a multitude of academic disciplines. This year, The Graduate School named 33 recipients in total, with 24 from the College of Arts and Sciences, four from the Gillings School of Global Public Health, two from the UNC School of Education, and one each from the UNC School of Nursing, UNC School of Social Work, and the UNC School of Medicine.
