Peacock III Summer Research Fellowship as she works to complete her dissertation on Anne of Cleaves, Sibylle of Cleaves and the ways portraits and objects are used to portray individuals.
Rosemary Gay is a Ph.D. student within the Department of Anthropology in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She has been awarded the James L. Peacock III Summer Research Fellowship as she works to complete her dissertation on the politics and evolution of peanut farming.

Sox Summer Research Fellowship as she works to complete her dissertation on transnational labor economies and farmworker narratives.
Pasuth Thothaveesansuk is a Ph.D. candidate with the Department of History at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s College of Arts and Sciences. He has received the James L. Peacock III Summer Research Fellowship as he works to complete his dissertation on liberal internationalism in East and Southeast Asia in the 20th century.
Taylor West is a Ph.D. candidate within the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. As she continues working on her dissertation that focuses on positive interactions between strangers, West has received the Laura Mayer Summer Research Fellowship.

She is the 2022 recipient of the Coffield Family Summer Research Fellowship, which has allowed her to resume field work after COVID-19 placed a pause on her research.
Lily Herbert ’16 is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Geography housed in the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s College of Arts and Sciences. Herbert is a 2022 recipient of the Ou Family Summer Research Fellowship, which has allowed her to work on her dissertation, centering on hate crime legislation and its geographical ties.
Seh-Joo Kwon is a Ph.D. candidate within the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s College of Arts and Sciences. She is the recipient of the Carol and Ed Smithwick Summer Research Fellowship.
