Education doctoral alumnus discusses his Snowbird Day School project, reflects on years at Carolina as ‘tremendous time of growth’
Banu Gökariksel, associate professor in UNC-Chapel Hill’s geography department, has been appointed the Caroline H. and Thomas S. Royster Distinguished Professor for Graduate Education.
Madelyn Percy’s work has taken her to Chile, France, Belize, Iceland and the Galapagos Archipelago. At the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Percy is pursuing her goal of becoming a “rock solid geoscience educator.”
