Maria Dykema Erb is the director of Boston University’s Newbury Center and former co-director of Diversity and Student Success at The Graduate School at UNC-Chapel Hill. She founded the First-Generation Graduate Student Symposium during her time at UNC-Chapel Hill and brought the symposium with her to Boston University.
