The Graduate School has named the School of Social Work’s Naana Ewool as its 2021-2022 Weiss Urban Livability Program senior fellow.

Charles Weiss, PhD, professor emeritus of environmental sciences and engineering at the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health, passed away on Dec. 17.

Weiss Urban Livability Program began with an idea on a napkin; since then, more than 200 graduate students have received fellowships in livability research
