“I’ve always been interested in reaching across disciplinary boundaries,” says new Royster Distinguished Professor Marsha Collins. She shares her enthusiasm for the interdisciplinary Royster Society, as well as her belief in the uplifting power of education.
Mentoring from the start
This year, 43 Royster Fellows, members of The Graduate School’s select fellowship program, have been paired with 62 Carolina Covenant Scholars, undergraduates from low-income backgrounds who have been admitted to Carolina and have the opportunity to graduate debt-free.
