Graduating Tar Heel Darren Hearn (’16 MPH; ’21 Ph.D.) has focused his research on musculoskeletal injury and performance and how those areas can be applied to people completing military basic training in order to identify those at greatest risk for sustaining injury.
The Graduate School honored doctoral degree recipients at UNC-Chapel Hill on Saturday, May 15. The celebration included a video and interactive gallery of graduates from August 2019 through May 2021.
Graduate School Dean Steve Matson presented the honor during the Doctoral Hooding Ceremony.
