Message from Dean Beth Mayer-Davis

Dear Carolina graduate and professional students, 

Happy Spring FDOC! I hope you had a restful and rejuvenating break, and I’m excited to welcome you back to campus as we begin the spring semester. It’s always a pleasure to see our community of exceptional students return, ready to tackle new challenges and make meaningful contributions to your fields. 

As we move into the spring semester and the new year, we have much to look forward to. This year promises new opportunities and challenges, and we are committed to supporting your academic success, personal well-being, and professional development every step of the way. 

I encourage you to take advantage of the numerous resources available to you through The Graduate School: 

I’m confident that each of you will continue to push boundaries, pursue innovative research, and make a lasting impact on our campus, our state and the world. I look forward to witnessing all the extraordinary work you will accomplish in the months to come.
