Dear graduate students:

Thursday, October 20 is the start of fall break. It is also nearly the mid-point of the fall semester—a time that’s full of academic and personal obligations. It’s also a time when the beauty of our campus reminds us that times of transition can also be a time for reflection. I hope you can take the time for self-care and for your well-being in whatever way that means for you, such as relaxing and refocusing.

Graduate school challenges students to discover, to push boundaries of knowledge, and can be a rigorous experience. Please remember that the Heels Care Network is a resource for graduate students should you need additional support. We strive to support you through our many campus partners and to be mindful to our graduate students’ needs.

Thank you for all that you do for our University. On behalf of The Graduate School, enjoy your fall break, and please remember that we are here to support you through your endeavors, including academic and personal resources.
