Alumna Yuqiao Cao (’20, M.S.) awarded Diversity, Inclusion & Cultural Heritage Fellowship

Yuqiao Cao (’20 M.S.) has been selected as one of 15 fellows for the 2022-2024 Rare Book School Andrew W. Mellon Fellowship for Diversity, Inclusion & Cultural Heritage cohort. Cao graduated from Carolina in 2020 with a master’s degree in library science. She is a Pauline A. Young Resident and Visual Literacy Librarian at the University of Delaware Library, Museums and Press. Cao curates educational resources for both the library and museum, working primarily with the latter’s multicultural collections. She factors this into her teaching as well, as she hopes to expand accessibility to collections and shed light on the various cultural values they hold.
