Savannah Ryburn, a master’s degree student in the Environment, Ecology and Energy Program is studying the diet of sharks with a goal of conversation. Ryburn hopes to better understand which prey specific sharks eat, which could lead to better fishing regulations. Ryburn is spending summer 2021 in the Galapagos thanks to support from the Summer Research Fellowship and from The Graduate School. Ryburn’s program is housed in the Center for Galapagos Studies.
